Dockhand (Year Round)

About the role

A Dock Hand at our marina in Beaufort, North Carolina, ensures the facility meets established quality standards through cleaning and operational duties. This year-round, outdoor position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and providing top-tier customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dock Masters and other Dock Hands with marina-related tasks, including securing boats to docks and connecting/monitoring utility services (power, water, and telephone).
• Perform black water pump-out, waste disposal, and facility sanitation.
• Provide exceptional customer and guest services by expediting requests from vessels, such as transporting patrons and baggage to/from dockside and delivering provisions and packages.
• Routinely operate motor and water vehicles and other mechanized equipment.

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets.
• Reliable with strong time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teammates.
