Essential Functions
- Monitor office specific inboxes for receipt of docketing entries and coordinate with those who send entries as needed.
- Review litigation and business filings to determine deadlines.
- Enter and update docket entries.
- Produce various docket reports.
- Troubleshoot docket concerns and issues.
- Provide ongoing information and technical support to attorneys, legal staff and administrative staff throughout the firm concerning the specific policies and general mechanics relating to the docketing process.
- Provide backup assistance to Litigation Docketing Supervisor as needed.
Specific Skills Required
- Ability to manage multiple details and prioritize.
- Ability to function effectively as a team while maintaining accuracy of detail.
- Ability to interact with all levels of firm personnel with professionalism.
- Ability to work well under pressure and skills in time management.
- Ability to accurately type 55 wpm, excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong command of the English language, including excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, and knowledge of Firm's form and style.
- Functional knowledge of standard MS Office applications.
- Experience with docketing software such as CompuLaw and CourtAlert.
- Proficiencies in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Education And Experience
- Requires a bachelor’s degree and between 2 and 4 years of docketing or relevant legal support or database experience, or equivalent.
- Experience in a law firm preferred.
