Dock Processor/Forklift Operator

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Operates forklift to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
• Loads, unloads, and stacks goods and materials in accordance with policies and safety procedures.
• Maintains forklift and other material handling equipment; notifies management when repairs are required.
• Complies with all safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Lead or Manager.

Skills

• Effective communication and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand material tags, work orders, and read a tape measure.
• Computer skills, specifically proficiency in NETSUITE.
• Pass SRP accredited forklift operating training and exam.

Education And/or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years experience working in a warehouse preferred.

Work Environment And Physical Requirements

• Based in a plant environment requiring proper PPE.
• Requires walking and standing for prolonged periods.
• Uses hands and fingers to handle, feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Reaches with hands and arms; climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crouch, or crawl.
• Talks or hears as part of the regular duties.
• Regularly lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds to shoulder height.
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 75 pounds.
