Dock and Door Service Tech

About the role

Crown Equipment Corporation, one of the world's largest lift truck manufacturers, is seeking a skilled individual to troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment in Fort Worth, TX.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment
• Welding
• Maintain a service van and its inventory
• Process paperwork after completion of each job

Requirements

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school graduate preferred
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Welding experience
• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Familiarity with tools and equipment such as common hand tools
