About the role

As a Gevaarlijke Stoffen teacher at Vertex Learning Institute, you are responsible for delivering courses to professionals in the transportation, air freight, and logistics sectors. You work with (inter)national regulations such as IATA DGR, ADR, and IMDG code, translating these into understandable language and ensuring the effective delivery of your knowledge.

In addition to teaching, you have an advisory role towards our clients and support them with consultancy projects. You closely follow developments in (inter)national regulations and ensure that the course material remains up-to-date.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical training courses on the transportation of hazardous materials
• Execute consultancy projects for clients
• Keep and develop course materials
• Act as a point of reference for clients regarding regulations
• Contribute to the development of new training products and quality improvements

Requirements

• Experience with or certified in the transportation of hazardous materials
• Knowledge of relevant regulations (such as ICAO TI, IATA DGR, ADR, and IMDG code)
• Strong communication skills and enjoy sharing knowledge
• Analytical mindset and keep track of sector developments
• Experience with teaching and consultancy is preferred
• You are preferably available 5 days a week; 4 days is negotiable
• You are proficient in both Dutch and English verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of air cargo security is preferred
• You are either already certified or willing to take the "Instructors Competence Testing" for the various Security courses
• If a Safety Investigation results in a No Objection Certificate (NOC), you can start working with us
