Docent: connect kids with our organic farm & wild spaces

Overview

Volunteers will lead farm education activities, learn outdoor education skills, and share nutrition and organic farming education with underserved youth at an organic farm and wild spaces in Watsonville, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead farm education activities
• Learn outdoor education skills
• Share nutrition and organic farming education with underserved youth
• Work Monday through Friday mornings 9-12 throughout the school year

Requirements

• Attend Orientation
• Minimum age requirement: 16+

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is preferred but not required
• Interest in organic farming and environmental education
