DMV Services Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented DMV Services Clerk to join our team in Delray Beach, Florida on a Contract basis. This position supports vehicle title and registration activities through direct communication with DMV offices, careful document handling, and timely follow-up on open items. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable managing clerical tasks in a fast-moving customer service environment. Responsibilities: • Contact DMV offices to gather updates, confirm requirements, and obtain information needed to move accounts forward. • Prepare, review, scan, and organize paperwork related to title, registration, and supporting documentation. • Maintain clear account records by entering accurate notes and documenting each status update received. • Track outstanding items and complete follow-up activities to help resolve pending title and registration matters. • Research fee details, correction requirements, and document needs associated with DMV transactions. • Support account closure efforts by collecting missing information and coordinating with relevant parties. • Assist with onboarding and training new team members on departmental procedures and daily workflows. • Experience in customer service, clerical support, or administrative work in a fast-paced setting. • Knowledge of title processing, title searches, title clearing, or title examination activities. • Ability to communicate professionally by phone when working with DMV representatives and internal contacts. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to keep records accurate and well organized. • Proficiency in scanning documents and handling paperwork efficiently. • Comfortable managing multiple open tasks while meeting deadlines with limited overtime. • Dependable, adaptable, and able to take initiative when resolving routine issues.
