DMS Sonography Instructor (Full Time)

About the role

We are partnering with a respected healthcare-focused educational institution that is expanding its highly regarded Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. The program holds CAAHEP accreditation, attracting high‑caliber students and committed to delivering exceptional clinical and classroom instruction. As a Sonography Instructor you will teach OB/GYN and Vascular ultrasound, support student success, and help shape the next generation of ultrasound professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom, laboratory, and online instruction in sonography coursework
• Teach OB/GYN and Vascular ultrasound curriculum
• Prepare lesson plans, educational materials, and student evaluations
• Support student success through mentoring, advising, tutoring, and academic coaching
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback
• Participate in program meetings, committees, recruitment activities, and special projects
• Maintain current knowledge of sonography practices, imaging technology, and educational methodologies
• Assist with accreditation standards, assessment activities, and program outcomes measurement
• Foster a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement

Qualifications

• Diagnostic Medical Sonography experience with OB/GYN and Vascular expertise
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing future healthcare professionals
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within an academic environment

Pay

$92,000 annual salary (range $90,000‑$92,000)

Schedule

• Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 40 hours per week
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends required
• On‑site only (no remote/hybrid)
