DME Specialist - Overlake Sleep Center (Full-time/Days)

Pay

Hourly $24.49 – $36.74

Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm. After completing the training period, the position may transition to a hybrid remote schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two (2) years of administrative experience in a clinic or medical facility.
• Experience with medical insurance payers or government programs preferred.
• Experience in Brightree and/or EPIC preferred.
• Sleep‑focused DME equipment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Sleep/DME, Brightree, and/or EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all patient referrals and documentation processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required timelines.
• Communicate with the team regarding completed, pending, or missing documentation.
• Create and maintain patient records and verify insurance information for accurate billing.
• Scan electronic records into patient accounts.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Fill resupply orders for patient pick‑up.
• Provide timely follow‑up for patients as needed.
• Prioritize work effectively and remain focused on intake responsibilities.
• Complete thorough documentation in patient accounts in a timely manner.
• Maintain strong, professional verbal and written communication with patients, providers, and other clinic staff.
• Work independently and respond promptly to team messages and emails.
• Demonstrate detail‑oriented and highly organized work habits.
• Learn quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
