DLP (Data Loss Prevention) Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end engineering process for DLP/CASB solutions deployment
• Establish and manage a policy lifecycle that addresses business risks
• Implement detection models for relevant data types using both built-in and custom classifiers
• Define coverage for data exfiltration paths like email and cloud sharing
• Translate data requirements into actionable DLP policies across platforms
• Continuously optimize policies to enhance effectiveness and reduce user friction
• Work with SOC to integrate alerts into workflows for better incident response

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in security engineering or related fields leading DLP/CASB implementations
• Hands-on experience with DLP/CASB solutions in complex environments, particularly Microsoft Purview and Box
• Strong understanding of data exfiltration paths and user behavior in various channels
• Experience implementing and tuning data classifiers effectively
• Experience integrating DLP alerts into SOC workflows with tools like SIEM
• Familiarity with data security principles in cloud environments, especially AWS
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
