DLO Night Shift MLS/MLT I

About the role

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) in Oklahoma City, OK. Full‑time night shift position (2200‑0630) with rotating weekends and holidays. $5,000 sign‑on bonus available.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shift.
• Perform all assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilities.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive attitude throughout the workday.
• Work collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a respectful, productive work environment.
• Perform routine testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, coagulation, molecular, and microbiology.
• Assist with specimen processing as needed.
• Follow employer and hospital policies.
• Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Main responsibility: duties in the clinical laboratory.
• Assist supervisor/manager with special projects/assignments.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of laboratory procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify cause and synthesize alternatives.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Ability to interact positively with coworkers.
• Ability to use independent judgement to solve problems.
• Able to manage time, prioritize, and delegate.
• Good computer skills (a plus).
• Knowledge of Epic and MediaLab (a plus).
• AS degree in Medical Lab Technology or BS in Medical Technology.
• ASCP MT/MLT certification or equivalent, or eligibility for national MT/MLT certification.
