DLO Evening Shift Phlebotomy Service Rep I

About the role

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) in Ponca City, OK is seeking a team member to support routine technical tasks and laboratory operations during the Monday–Friday 3:30 pm–12 am shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional staff with routine technical tasks such as preparation of reagents, specimen processing, loading instruments, and managing send-outs.
• Perform filing, temperature checks, stocking supplies, and answering telephone calls.
• Receive specimens into the laboratory using LIS systems.
• Conduct phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed.
• Follow employer policies and work collaboratively in a professional, productive manner.
• Report to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shift.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive attitude throughout the workday.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Good computer skills and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and phlebotomy skills.
• Previous laboratory and phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Flexibility with schedule; occasional early starts or late stays to meet patient or client needs.
• Willingness to travel or work at different locations if business needs change.
• Ability to lift and carry light to moderately heavy items (up to 40 lbs occasionally, with assistance for heavier items).
• Comfortable sitting or standing for extended periods.
• Ability to perform hands-on, repetitive tasks with good attention to detail.
• Comfortable using a computer and phone regularly.
• Good hand coordination and steady movements.
• Ability to move throughout the day, including walking, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
