What This Pipeline Covers: We welcome candidates interested in Pre‑Apprentice work across our four trades: Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Sprinkler Fitting (Fire Protection). We hire across two primary business areas: New Construction (commercial, residential, & special projects) and Service & Remodel.

What to Expect After You Apply: We’ll review your application and keep it active in our talent pipeline. When a relevant Pre‑Apprentice opening is posted, we’ll reach out if your background fits. Referrals will be connected to the appropriate recruiter for next steps.

Responsibilities

• Support field crews with material handling, site organization, and jobsite housekeeping
• Use basic hand and power tools safely under guidance
• Assist with install prep (e.g., cutting openings, staging equipment, loading/unloading)
• Practice safety and quality basics, helping maintain clean, compliant work areas
• Work as part of a team and develop trade awareness across New Construction or Service & Remodel environments (actual tasks vary by trade and project)
• Responsible for leading, exemplifying and promoting the Dave Jones culture and holding team members accountable to all Dave Jones safety requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Lift above 50 lbs regularly
• Walking, lifting, twisting, climbing ladders, and other physical requirements consistently for 90% of your day

Pay

Hourly Pay: $20/hr + 1.5x OT

Schedule

4 x 10 hour work days
