I can succeed as the Divisional Retirement Plan Counselor at Capital Group
- You’ll work closely with the Retirement Plan Counselor to help drive sales initiatives in the Retirement Plan Sales market, identifying firm and firm representatives’ needs and coordinating efforts to serve those needs.
- You will be responsible for educating, training and motivating financial advisers and other financial intermediaries within a sales division to raise and retain assets for Capital Group.
- You’ll work directly with financial advisors in an effort to build retirement plan sales momentum.
- You excel at delivering motivational and informative presentations.
- You’re motivated by setting goals and measuring your performance against them.
- You apply a consultative skillset to sell through financial intermediaries and work collaboratively with other senior sales force members to identify opportunities for better Plan Sponsor and investor outcomes.
- You enjoy traveling and will spend a significant amount of time on the road.
- Approximately 60% of your time will be spent engaging your Financial Advisors, Consultants, Third-Party Administrators, and Plan Sponsors in person and 40% virtually.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of financial services sales experience.
- Proven experience in third party distribution, a broad knowledge of the mutual fund business and retirement plan sales.
- The demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships.
- A proven track of sales success in Retirement Plan Sales.
- The ability to leverage technological resources to create custom analysis.
- A skilled communicator and have sales experience in the registered investment advisor space.
- Well-versed in synthesizing information and presenting it in a distilled manner.
- The following licenses: Series 6 or 7 (or willing to obtain Series 7) and Series 63/65 or 66 as well as one or more of the following designations AIF, AIFA, PPC, CIMA, and CFA.
Benefits
- Base salary range for this role is $121,000 - $152,000 + applicable bonuses.
- Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including, candidate experience, and skills.
- Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.
- Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
- Employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
