Division Chief of Cardiac Anesthesiology, Academic Clinician - CHOP
About the role
The selected candidate will serve as an Associate or Full Professor in the non-tenure academic clinician track, with a focus on Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology. The candidate will also serve as the Division Chief of Cardiac Anesthesiology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Responsibilities
- Develop systems for mentoring faculty and staff in the division to promote productive, rewarding careers and academic advancement.
- Provide clinical anesthesia and medical direction in the Cardiac Operating Rooms and other anesthetizing locations at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
- Oversee the clinical activities of the Division and coordinate with leaders across the enterprise to optimize clinical operations.
- Support and foster funded research within the Division and across the Department.
Requirements
- An M.D. or equivalent degree.
- ABA certification with subspecialty certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology and Pennsylvania licensure.

- Expertise in the specific area of Anesthesiology with a focus on Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology.
