The College of Medicine-Tucson at the University of Arizona invites applications for the position of Generalist Division Chief within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary and transformative individual to provide strategic leadership and direction for all planning, policy, operations, and oversight of the administration, clinical outreach expansion, educational, research, and quality assurance aspects of the Division within a matrixed academic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for planning, policy, operations, and oversight of administration, clinical outreach expansion, educational, research, and quality assurance aspects of the Division.
• Practice full-scope generalist obstetrics and gynecology across all age ranges, including normal and high-risk prenatal care, labor and delivery management, and inpatient and outpatient gynecologic surgical procedures.
• Participate in collaborative research.
• Focus on healthcare delivery to underserved populations, maternal health disparities, or related areas of health-services research (preferred).
