Division Agronomist

About the role

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking an Agronomist to join our team in the Kansas–Illinois territory. This position offers flexibility, with the option to work remotely within the region and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide agronomic training to sales reps
• Initiate and establish trials to support marketing efforts for seed and proprietary products
• Interpret soil, tissue, and water analysis
• Research and respond to technical inquiries
• Develop proprietary fertilizer formulations
• Publish and distribute periodic summaries of agronomic observations and research
• Serve as a technical sales resource for Crop Consultants on grower calls
• Identify specific nutritional needs and opportunities coming from the field

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural or related major preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in an agronomist role
