Responsibilities

• Transporting projects safely to customer sites in Box Truck
• Utilizing loading docks for loading and unloading, and sometimes in other areas near the customer site
• Driving in congested traffic in both urban and rural areas
• Obtaining signatures on delivery orders and giving them to dispatch or managers
• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers strategically and efficiently using forklifts and/or pallet jacks
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections to ensure safety
• Reporting all vehicle issues or accidents immediately
• Maintaining a clean and safe truck presentation
• Addressing and reporting equipment defects or maintenance needs to ensure safe and efficient use
• Following all procedures, policies, and knowing the equipment before using it
• Speaking up when observing something that may be unsafe or when someone is performing unsafe acts
• Efficiently performing work according to standard operating procedures
• Working together with other team members to accomplish tasks safely in a fast-paced production environment

Requirements

• A minimum driver’s age requirement of 23 years old
• At least 2 years of verifiable driving experience
• Experience driving a box truck
• Clean driving record with ZERO driving violations
• Valid residency state Driver’s License
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Visual acuity level of 20/70 or better when looking through both eyes (or, one eye if the person has usable vision in only one eye)
• Field of vision of at least 110 degrees

Preferred and Helpful

• A high school diploma or GED
• Forklift certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
