District Support Pharmacist - FT

As a Staff Pharmacist, you play a critical role in delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for our patients. You will support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff while managing all aspects of pharmacy operations, including patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow.
A key part of this role involves keeping customers and patients healthy through the adoption and management of patient care programs. You will lead with empathy, motivate and develop your team, identify business opportunities, implement solutions, and adapt to changes in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in overseeing pharmacy operations, including patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance.
- Manage personnel, inventory, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow.
- Lead patient care programs to improve health outcomes.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
- Motivate, inspire, and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by leveraging strengths and addressing development opportunities.
- Identify and contribute to critical business opportunities to drive growth and performance.
- Implement solutions and lead your team to achieve specified goals.
- Adapt to changes in a dynamic community healthcare environment.
- Collaborate with others to deliver better outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors.
- Foster a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
Requirements
- Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
- Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $60.00 - $76.00 per hour. This range represents the base hourly rate for positions in this job grade. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors such as experience, education, and geography. This position is also eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range.
