District Shift Leader

Join our team! We are looking for our next General Manager! If you are ready to rise like one of our bagels and grow your career, then becoming a District Shift Leader is for you. District Shift Leaders participate in a targeted General Manager development plan to learn how to be a bagel boss. Once the development plan is complete, you will be next in line to take ownership of a bakery as a General Manager when a position is available!

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed
• Travel to gain further independence and learn from additional leaders in the area
• Lead by example, be a brand ambassador, and provide ongoing coaching and training for the teams
• Jump into different roles every shift to ensure high-quality food and beverages for guests and keep a safe, clean store environment
• Shifts begin as early as 3am for the first bake and store opening duties

GM development plan

• Training in restaurant administrative duties such as inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management
• Learn P&L analysis, how to achieve food cost and labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting quality team members
• District Shift Leaders are the next General Manager in the organization and lead to that standard in the absence of the General Manager

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply
• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours and weekends (starting as early as 3am)
• Must be able to pass background check and possess a current, valid driver’s license
• Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan, if a valid certification is not already in possession

Pay

Hourly Rate $14.57 - $21.86 per hour. Starting pay is subject to Local and State Minimum Wage regulations. Ranges reflect what employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for such position.

Schedule

You will never have to work past 3PM (NO EVENINGS & NO NIGHTS!). Minimum 30 hours/week required.
