SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, designing, building and maintaining utility scale solar, battery storage and high-voltage substation projects nationwide. This role is located full-time on jobsites in Texas, Colorado, Utah and California and will require travel. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

About the role

The Services District Manager assists the Field Operations Manager in managing and supporting operations within O&M’s portfolio of projects across an assigned district. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, maintenance, fiscal, and administrative functions to align with corporate strategy and objectives while ensuring safety for all personnel and equipment on the sites.

Responsibilities

  • Stress the importance of safety as the top priority, ensuring all employees follow safe practices while working
  • Ensure industry safety compliance and hold all team members accountable
  • Lead and manage a team of Regional and Level 4 Leads to ensure project tasks are on schedule and of the highest quality
  • Assist Regional and Level 4 Leads in developing detailed forecasting of operational activities for various equipment
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives
  • Seek ways to increase the quality of customer service and improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices
  • Work with the management team to manage and maintain compliance in key markets
  • Oversee the management and development of technicians, equipment suppliers, distributors, and service companies to operate competitively and deliver top-notch service
  • Develop systems, metrics, and KPI reporting through business intelligence platforms to enable scalable growth without service breakdowns or loss of quality
  • Ensure all operations are conducted in a professional, cost-effective manner
  • Coordinate and oversee the company’s new initiatives
  • Foster cross-team collaboration and learning opportunities
  • Assess and suggest process improvements, collaborate on new technologies, and coordinate with EPC management for implementation
  • Champion diversity and inclusion as an integral part of SOLV Energy’s culture
  • Maintain strong industry relationships
  • Maintain alignment with market intelligence
  • Support planned and forced outages on sites as necessary, which may require overnight stays

Requirements

  • College degree in a related management field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as a Regional Lead or equivalent
  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to make significant independent judgments
  • 30% travel required
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Experience working in a diverse, multi-disciplined, employee-owned company
  • Strong communication skills to clearly articulate vision into an executable plan

Pay

$119,025.00 - $142,830.00 (salary)
