Responsibilities
- Overseeing the operations of multiple convenience store locations within a designated district.
- Hiring, training, and developing store managers and staff.
- Setting and achieving sales and profitability goals for each store.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Addressing customer concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in retail management, preferably in a convenience store setting.
- Proven track record of managing multiple store locations.
- Understanding of retail operations, including sales, merchandising, and store layout.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to retail operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze financial reports and develop strategies to improve store performance.
- Proficiency in inventory management and loss prevention.
- Customer service excellence and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A valid driver's license is required for flexibility to travel daily between store locations.
Schedule
This is an exempt position requiring a minimum of 45 hours per week. The candidate must be available for a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends as the business dictates. A significant amount of travel between stores is required.
