Join Imperial Cleaning as a field-based District Manager in the New York Metro Area. Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain working relationships with clients.
  • Perform required location inspections and touchbases (minimum of 1 inspection and 2 touchbases per quarter).
  • Report and resolve inspection deficiencies within 24 hours for urgent issues.
  • Manage staff: screen, hire, onboard, and terminate employees as needed.
  • Train custodial technicians and support area supervisors and account coordinators.
  • Oversee new account setup and assist with staff training on clocking in/out.
  • Monitor employee time and attendance, and manage daily staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Conduct weekly payroll and report accidents or injuries.
  • Address and resolve employee performance issues and notify HR/payroll and operations of all staffing changes.
  • Serve as on-call for emergency situations during evenings and weekends.
  • Create supply orders and submit service requests to the office.
  • Update account spreadsheets as directed and manage KPIs within your region.
  • Perform performance reviews for direct reports.
  • All other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Experience in the commercial cleaning industry is a plus.
  • Must speak fluent English and Spanish.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills (email, phone).
  • Results-driven with the ability to resolve challenges and emergencies at a moment’s notice.
  • Multi-task oriented, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Customer-focused with a can-do approach to problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Working knowledge of email, spreadsheets, smartphones, and relevant software applications.
  • Clean DMV report and valid driver’s license.
  • Strong, unwavering ability to use technology.

Schedule

Typically Monday through Friday, with on-call availability for emergencies during evenings and weekends.
