District Manager

About the role

WasteFree is looking for committed, trustworthy individuals interested in part-time management opportunities. The role of District Manager is crucial to the success of our business and requires that you display good leadership skills to the Collection Specialists that report to you.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience (minimum 1 year)
• Must have your own pickup truck for trash collection
• Must have a valid state issued driver’s license and vehicle insurance with your name listed
• Must have a smartphone with a data plan
• Must have a full-time job
• Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to complete work with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in ALL weather conditions
• Must be physically able to lift 50lbs and go up and down multiple flights of stairs, as well as walk distances

Responsibilities

• Be prepared to work from 8:00pm to 1:00am Sunday through Thursday and as reasonably requested during regular business hours Monday through Friday and occasional weekends
• Interviewing Collection Specialist candidates and training new hires
• Conducting "Audits", and "Redundant Routes" on your communities
• Keeping up with call-ins/callouts and clock-ins/clock-outs
• Collecting and reporting violation data and holding employees responsible for violations
• Nightly correspondence with staff
• Troubleshooting any issues that come up during service
• Running service as needed
• Daily meeting(s) and/or phone call(s) with Supervisor
• Monitoring and Reporting Collection Specialists work
• Conducting/Completing Property Profiles
• Sunday afternoon check-ins with Employees
• Submitting Nightly Report

Pay

Up to $32,000 annually part-time

Schedule

Be prepared to work from 8:00pm to 1:00am Sunday through Thursday and as reasonably requested during regular business hours Monday through Friday and occasional weekends
