District Inventory Auditor
About the role
The District Inventory Auditor plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of inventory systems and ensuring operational excellence across the organization. Responsibilities include counting all physical inventories, generating department audit reports, reconciling computer data with physical counts, and reporting on errors found. The position also involves working with departments to reduce errors in inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities

- Working with each department to reduce errors in inventory accuracy
- Performing front line accounting review at store level during retail inventory audits
- Collaborating with District Manager's and Store Manager's to identify store issues
- Developing preliminary audit schedules for district including neighboring store rotation
- Aiding Store Manager with invoice concerns, store organization, price adjustments, and abnormalities discovered in system
- Conducting visual checklists at each store detailing store conditions, maintenance issues, safety concerns, marketing promotions, and loss prevention awareness
- Completing 16-20 retail inventory audits monthly including lottery, importing data to computer for processing to complete audit paperwork, printing reports, keying into system, and uploading/scanning supporting documentation
- Achieving established average per hour (APH) counting goal while ensuring accuracy and integrity of data collected
- Working in various work environments with potential exposure to cold and heat
- Taking initiative to explore and suggest new approaches that can impact quality and/or quantity of job performance and organizational effectiveness
- Maintaining a can-do attitude, attacking job with passion, demonstrating a sense of urgency, and delivering excellent output
- Completing other job-related duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications
- Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
- Ability to work in various work environments with potential exposure to cold and heat
- Proficient in computer operations to include Microsoft Office and Open Office applications
- Ability to complete other job-related duties as assigned by Management
