District Internal Substitute (full-time)

About the role

Spectrum Schools (Spectrum) is a college-prep public charter school located in Elk River, MN since 2006. We are seeking a full-time District Substitute who is passionate about making a difference for students.

Responsibilities

• Substitute teaching in all Spectrum schools (Elementary, Middle, and High School)
• Assist with classroom management and student engagement
• Support teachers during professional development and planning sessions
• Participate in special events and extracurricular activities as needed

Requirements

• Valid Minnesota teaching license or ability to obtain within six months
• Experience in substitute teaching preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities

Pay
