District Family Services Worker - Barre - Interim

About the role

The Department for Children & Families' Family Services Division Barre District is seeking professional level Interim Family Services Workers to join our team of dedicated staff in supporting children, families and communities. Our goal is to promote safety, permanency, wellbeing and law abidance for children in need. Your role may involve conducting assessments related to child abuse and neglect or delinquency and/or providing ongoing services to at-risk families, children in state care, or youth on juvenile probation. We work in partnership with parents, relatives, educators, law enforcement, community-based service providers, courts, foster parents, and others. The work we do is meaningful, challenging and critical to the safety and well-being of Vermont's children and families. This is an interim position with an end date of May 20
