District Employees ONLY Mechanic II (Night Shift)

About the Role
To perform skilled mechanical repair work on school buses, trucks, and other District vehicles or power equipment; to perform in servicing activities related to the maintenance of automotive equipment and other related work as required.

Requirements
- Four (4) years of verifiable experience as a mechanic, especially heavy-duty mechanical work; work experience in an educational setting preferred.
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Valid California Driver’s License Class B or higher with Passenger Endorsement and Air Brake Endorsement.
- Successfully pass District test.
Pay
Monthly salary range: $5,664 - $8,779 (Classified Salary Schedule, Step 43 A-J).
Schedule
12 months / 8 hours per day, full-time, night shift.
