Authors the official court record in a court of limited jurisdiction for District Court traffic and criminal arraignment or civil small claims court proceedings; prepares documents ordered by the court; and performs other duties as required.

- Prepares and/or processes legal forms and documents in court proceedings.
- Types at a rate of 40 net words per minute.
Requirements
- Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent.
- Specialized Experience: One (1) year of work experience in a court or legal setting, which included the preparation and/or processing of legal forms and documents in court proceedings.
- Skills: Ability to read and comprehend written directions and perform tasks requiring high verbal skills.
- Substitutions: Up to one (1) year of Specialized Experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
- Qualification for Firearms: Must be qualified to possess firearms in accordance with state and federal laws.
