About the role
The District Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing clinical operations within a designated area of the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinical operations in assigned area
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care outcomes
- Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient care quality
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
- Current RN license in state of practice
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a leadership role
- Experience managing clinical operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Leadership certification (e.g., CCM)
- Experience in a healthcare setting
