Distribution Warehouse Specialist (CA)

About the role

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position located at the facility in California. The role involves picking and packing orders, shipping and receiving product, maintaining KPIs, ensuring compliance with GMP guidelines, and accurately tracking inventory of raw materials, supplies, and finished goods. Physical demands include walking, lifting, and carrying items; may require sitting or standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. The employee also maintains and cleans the warehouse and work area after each shift, work performed in a temperature‑controlled warehouse environment. The pay range is $20–$24 per hour. This is not a supervisory position. Management reserves the right to change this job with or without notice.

Responsibilities

• Process bulk and packaged product orders within KPI guidelines.
• Prepare document packets and meet other requirements for domestic and international shipments.
• Receive raw materials, supplies, and finished goods.
• Perform accurate, timely data input and record keeping.
• Perform and reconcile inventories.
• Maintain warehouse space(s), including replenishing supplies and maintaining equipment.
• Assist in resolving materials issues.
• Ensure handling and distribution of products follows GMP standards.
• Use time wisely to perform duties and achieve goals.
• Work with supervisor to support departmental goals.
• Communicate with carriers to ensure quality service.
• Provide backup in other materials functions when co‑workers are absent.
• Conduct quality control functions as needed and when trained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least two years of experience working in warehouse and logistics.

Skills

• Proficiency with PC‑based computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic problem‑solving skills.
• Forklift operating skills; must become certified according to safety regulations.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay

The pay range is $20–$24 per hour.
