DISTRIBUTION TECHNICIAN I - 3rd Shift

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Pick/pack/ship all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner while operating material handling equipment.
• Complete all paperwork & system transactions in accordance with standard departmental operating procedures.
• Identify and communicate issues to shift crew leader, warehouse supervisor, team manager. Attend shift/team meetings and recommend process improvements.
• Perform general duties including sanitation and battery changing.
• Promotion to the next level is dependent upon performing two years in an expanded role in Safety management, Efficiency management, Training management, or Quality management/ OR performing four out of seven activity groups.

Education

• Minimum level of education required to perform the job: High School Diploma/GED.
• Preferred level of education: GED.

Experience

• Minimum number of years and type of experience required to perform the job: Two years in an expanded role in Safety management, Efficiency management, Training management, or Quality management/ OR performing four out of seven activity groups.
• Experience using material handling equipment in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Basic MS Windows experience preferred.
