Distribution Team Member II (Receiver)

Responsibilities

• Outbound: Operate narrow aisle powered equipment, process, inspect, and package orders, prepare Bill of Lading (BOL) and packing slips, properly pick mixed orders to pallets for shipment, use RF scanner and tablet to ensure accuracy of picking locations.
• Inbound: Verify, identify, and inspect incoming products, prepare receiving reports, note and record shortages and damaged materials, establish if incoming materials require inspection or testing, maintain lot traceable documentation, use forklift or designated material-handling equipment to transport materials, enter inventory transactions into computer system, and complete advanced CTPAT training as applicable.
• Value-Added Services (VAS): Maintain the flow of goods to and from the VAS area, use RF scanner and tablet to pick and stage VAS orders, maintain required VAS inventory level as needed, support all VAS processes as needed, conduct quality checks, and ship VAS orders.
• Communication & Team Collaboration: Communicate with Team Leads regarding training needs, development obstacles, and data entry tasks (pick reversals, cycle counts), ask questions to clarify instructions and ensure accuracy, actively participate in daily/morning huddles, and contribute positively to team culture by assisting others and promoting collaboration.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills
• Good math, reading, and writing skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work under general supervision and demonstrate a coachable, positive attitude
