Distribution Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of DC staff, respond to requests and resolve conflicts
• Provide feedback to the DCM about employee performance issues and coach employees
• Audit shipments to ensure accuracy
• Investigate and answer customer complaints
• Check loads to ensure safety and C-TPAT compliance
• Communicate departmental SOPs and SWPs to staff
• Contribute to monthly inspections and safety audits
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Completion of a high-school diploma or practical equivalency and several years of working experience in a distribution/warehouse/yard environment
• Minimum two years in a supervisory role
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
• Management Development program, WHIMIS, First Aid and knowledge of IPEX products preferred
