About the role
In this role, you will provide leadership and direction for day-to-day distribution operations to ensure customer demand is met consistently and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Maintain supply reliability for customers and locations, ensuring all medical gas deliveries comply with FDA standards and Linde's quality assurance system
- Schedule delivery of packaged and cryogenic products to meet internal goals, customer expectations, and operational standards
- Train the Distribution Team in all aspects of Linde Safety and Quality systems and requirements
- Monitor distribution efficiencies and staffing levels to ensure customer demands are consistently met
- Lead safety initiatives, including administering safety training, conducting evaluations, and overseeing accident investigations
- Control costs by evaluating shipments, consolidating loads, and selecting the most cost-efficient method of shipment
- Drive productivity to maximize distribution capabilities and operational efficiency, while providing job training that fosters career development and growth
Requirements
- A high school diploma; a college degree is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience, along with at least 2+ years in Distribution, Logistics, or Transportation
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
- Knowledgeable of regulatory agency requirements including FDA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA
- Experience working in a Union environment is a plus
- Demonstrated reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the proven ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accountability
Qualifications
