Distribution Specialist U
About the role
The Distribution Specialist plays a crucial role in the Supply Chain Operations team, focusing on maintaining supply and patient care equipment. This position ensures that materials and supplies are accurately received and processed, resolving discrepancies and fulfilling requests efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Verify materials and receipts against purchase orders and update purchase order receipts
- Coordinate with Purchasing personnel to address discrepancies in purchase orders or receipts
- Package and process returns to vendors or other facilities, coordinating shipping logistics
- Stock supplies in the designated Distribution Storeroom location
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- At least two (2) years of experience in receiving, distribution, warehousing, hospital Central Service, or Inventory Control is required (or a combination of relevant education and experience)
- Basic computer input/keyboard skills are desired
- Experience with Computerized Materials Management systems is preferred
- Experience using electronic signature software is preferred
- Basic experience in PC business applications such as MS Word and Excel is required

Pay and Benefits
