Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support
- Function as Project Manager and take responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities
- Take administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections
- Be involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews
- Be directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues
- See that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management system
- Implement, monitor and support company policy
- Select, train, develop and manage technical personnel
- Manage and develop multidiscipline teams
- Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred, but other degrees considered along with background and experience)
- Professional Engineering (PE) License
- 4+ years of distribution design experience including planning studies, coordination studies, wiring sizing, and a general understanding of constructability
- 10+ years of overall experience including prior project management and staff management experience
- Excellent client management skills, marketing, and business development skills in addition to contacts/relationships with power delivery clients
- Previous experience managing staff, clients, contracts, and hiring staff for an engineering consulting firm
- Self-driven and motivated individual who can network, generate new work, recruit, and grow a team
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
- Good leadership and organizational skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
Preferred qualifications
- License/certification (PMP or similar)
- Experience with industry software including: CYMCAP, ETAP, EasyPower, Polywater Pull Planner, PLS-CADD, Spida Calc, Pole Foreman, etc.

- Spokane, WA: $113,117 - $161,595
- Bellevue/Seattle, WA: $142,884 - $204,120
