Distribution Scheduler - 2nd Shift

The Distribution Center Scheduler is responsible for coordinating daily order plans and transportation activities to ensure accurate and on-time fulfillment of orders. This role bridges the front-end order scheduling and management functions with backend transportation execution. The Scheduler plays a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, accurate documentation, timely communication with carriers, customers, and internal operations team members.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming orders and prioritize workload based on shipping schedules and customer requirements.
• Print and distribute daily sales orders for warehouse picking and shipping.
• Respond to customer service and sales inquiries regarding order status within the DC operations.
• Generate and manage bills of lading (BOL’s) within Oracle Transportation Management System.
