Position Summary
This position is responsible for managing the administration of all construction and maintenance projects in coordination with various departments and external entities throughout the planning, construction process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Process applications and payments for new service
- Communicate Cooperative policies and procedures relating to the establishment of new service, upgrades, relocations and security lights
- Communicate with internal and external customers through entire construction process
- Cookordinate location of underground utility locates with DIGTESS
- Enter and update information within NiSC Smart Track for all district projects
- Create and issue service requests for various tasks to include temporary and permanent metering, tree trimming and service upgrades
- Schedule pre-development and pre-construction meetings
- Notify communications companies of changes in Cooperative facilities and follow up to ensure that they have relocated or removed their facilities
- Process damage claims, invoices and collections
- Maintain the security of confidential information
- Stay abreast of advances in technology
- Demonstrate regular and prompt attendance
- Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of using computer systems, which may include setting up and using hardware and software programs, entering data or processing information
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
- Knowledge of NISC
- Knowledge of GIS software
- Knowledge of Cooperative accounting and purchasing practices
- Knowledge of distribution, standards
- Skilled in time management
- Skilled in managing changing priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to anticipate, identify, analyze and resolve conflict and problems
Minimum Qualifications - (Education, Experience)
- High School Diploma
- Two years of directly related work experience
- Valid Driver's License
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- The employee may be required to stand; reach with hands and arms, stoop and kneel
- The employee may be required to sit or stand for long periods of time
- The employee may be required to lift, carry, push, pull or move up to 25 pounds
- Exempt employees receive a fixed bi-weekly salary to compensate them for all hours worked during each pay period
- The employee may be required to travel
- This position is primarily in an office environment
- This position may be required to work more than 40 hours per week
