Distribution Manager
About the role
Provide leadership and direction for day-to-day distribution operations to ensure customer demand is met consistently and efficiently.
Ensure all operational activities are conducted safely and reliably in full compliance with HAZMAT and Department of Transportation (DOT) documentation requirements.
Manage personnel fairly and consistently, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages motivation, information sharing, and employee empowerment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure supply reliability for customers and locations, ensuring all medical gas deliveries comply with FDA standards and Linde's quality assurance system.
- Schedule delivery of packaged and cryogenic products to meet internal goals, customer expectations, and operational standards.
- Maintain, review, and verify work order summaries to ensure timely shipments.
- Lead safety initiatives, including administering safety training, conducting evaluations, and overseeing accident investigations.
Requirements
- A high school diploma; a college degree is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of two (2+) years of leadership experience, along with at least two (2+) years in Distribution, Logistics, or Transportation.

- Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.
- Demonstrated reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the proven ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accountability.
- Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict in a fair and constructive manner.
Skills
- Basic computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn new applications and navigate all levels and areas of the facility.
