Distribution Lead - 1st Shift
Shift hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Reports to the Distribution Supervisor.
About the role
Leads the activities and workforce related to shipping, receiving, and storing materials and/or finished goods. Functions as a Subject Matter Expert on core distribution functions and processes. Works with management to develop a workplace culture that reflects ResMed's organizational values, standards, core competencies, and behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Directs daily activities for distribution employees.
- Participates in day-to-day warehouse duties.
- Performs inventory control activities, including cycle count, data entry, report generation, and reconciliation.
- Expedites critical shipments as required.
- Serves as the point person for questions from the distribution teams.
- Supports the training of warehouse employees.
- Participates in all system upgrades, testing, or implementations.
- Enforces all OSHA, FDA, and ISO rules and regulations.
- Performs other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Physical demands: frequent walking; occasional sitting, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; lifting up to 40 lbs. May handle "packaged" hazardous materials. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (combination of education and experience will be considered).
- Minimum of 1 year of distribution or warehouse leadership experience.
- Strong familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Energetic, self-motivated, quick-thinking with a positive attitude.
- Flexible to work varying schedules, hours, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Experience
- Experience using Oracle.
- Prior experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Prior experience with HighJump and/or Compass Conveyor systems.
- Certifications and/or advanced education.
