Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver products to various locations such as bars, restaurants, hotels, or other customer sites.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Process payments for goods delivered.
- Sort and deliver merchandise according to invoices.
- Operate the vehicle safely and courteously, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Complete required paperwork, including the DOT logbook and DVIR.
- Ensure cargo is securely loaded and unloaded, following safety protocols.
- Report any incidents to the dispatcher.
- Maintain the vehicle, products, and equipment in good working order.
Additional Primary Responsibilities
- Plan trip logistics and obtain necessary documents for transporting goods.
- Lift, lower, push, and pull up to 48 pounds frequently.
- Sit and operate machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and battery change stations.
- Work in compliance with all safety regulations and traffic laws.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- At least 21 years of age.
Physical Demands
- Significant time spent walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
- Ability to frequently lift, lower, push, and pull up to 48 pounds.
- Regular sitting and operating machinery like forklifts, pallet jacks, and battery change stations.
- Exposure to warehouse environmental conditions.
- Extended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak-season schedules may be required.
