About the role

The Distribution Driver role at STIIIZY is an entry-level opportunity within our dynamic and fast-growing cannabis retail company. This position focuses on the safe and efficient transportation of products while building a foundational understanding of distribution, shipping, and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport cannabis products while adhering to compliance and safety protocols.
• Learn and accurately complete driver handoff sheets and manage delivery tasks through OnFleet.
• Maintain delivery awareness by following established procedures and ensuring timely completion of routes.
• Build foundational knowledge of shipping and receiving processes within distribution logistics.
• Train emergency preparedness procedures to ensure the safety and compliance of all deliveries.
• Follow instructions and collaborate with an advanced driver to develop skills and experience in distribution operations.
• Punctual and ready to work
• Escalate larger tasks or complex issues to management for resolution.

Requirements

• Proficient in utilizing delivery management software, such as OnFleet, for route optimization and task tracking.
• Skilled in maintaining accurate documentation, including driver handoff sheets and compliance records.
• Able to conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs to ensure road safety.
• Knowledge of basic shipping and receiving processes within distribution operations.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency preparedness procedures for secure product handling and delivery.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant industry experience.
• High school diploma preferred.

Skills
