Distribution Designer

Responsibilities

• Design electrical distribution projects with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
• Organize and manage workload to ensure projects are completed through final delivery.
• Maintain high-quality design standards while meeting assigned deadlines.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain consistent quality within a structured and deadline-driven environment.
• Perform field work and attend field meetings as required based on project needs.
• Participate in internal and external meetings as necessary.

Requirements

• 4+ Years of Distribution Design experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD is a must.
• Ability to follow prescribed standards and procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership and technical capability.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) from a 4-year ABET-accredited institution preferred.
• Experience with Duke Energy Distribution Design (BOUD, PoleForman) highly preferred.
• SEDS experience preferred.
• Cable Pulling Assistant (CPA) experience preferred.

Work Environment

The position is offered as in-office/hybrid out of the Maitland (Orlando) or Tampa offices. The position requires in-office presence and may involve field work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Maitland, FL.

Pay And Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00/hr.
