About the role

Diverse Pipeline Services (DPS) is seeking experienced Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Pipeline Welding Inspector (CPWI) Inspectors to support upcoming pipeline construction projects in Montana.

Responsibilities

• Support pipeline construction projects
• Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety practices, and regulatory requirements
• Document inspections and findings accurately
• Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders
• Manage field responsibilities independently

Requirements

• Current CWI or CPWI certification
• Pipeline construction experience preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Safety-focused and professional demeanor
• Experience in utility inspection, natural gas distribution, or related construction environments
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, safety practices, and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work independently and manage field responsibilities effectively
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation
• Proficiency in digital reporting, data collection, and photo documentation tools
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
