Distribution Clerk Temporary

Roswell Park is seeking a Temporary Distribution Clerk to support the Supply Chain Distribution & Mail Services department.

About the role

The Distribution Clerk receives, inspects, and delivers incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals to all departments throughout the Roswell Park campus. Responsibilities include shipping packages with proper paperwork via Federal Express, UPS, and other freight companies, maintaining inventories in the Storeroom and PAR carts, delivering medical supplies to patient care areas, and ensuring stock rotation and removal of expired products for patient safety. The role also involves maintaining shipment records, posting, sorting, and delivering internal mail.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and deliver incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals across the Roswell Park campus.
• Ship packages via Federal Express, UPS, and other freight companies, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Maintain inventories in the Storeroom and PAR carts, delivering medical supplies to patient care areas to ensure availability for patient care.
• Rotate stock and remove expired products to maintain patient safety.
• Maintain records of UPS, Federal Express shipments, and vendor packing lists.
• Post, sort, and deliver internal mail.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
• One (1) year of full-time experience in distribution, shipping, receiving, or a related field.

Pay

$19.55/hour

Schedule

• Full time (0.9375 FTE).
• 37.5 hours per week.
• First Shift.
