Distribution Clerk (2nd Shift)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pick product (optical frames, lenses and contact lenses), put them into boxes on a cart for shipping
  • Replace inventory
  • Put lenses in correct inventory locations and rotate stock (Receiving/put away)
  • Pick orders for customers and branches (Order selection)
  • Inform managers, supervisors or coordinators of stock-outs (Order selection)
  • Verify orders and correct discrepancies (Shipping)
  • Box orders in correct containers or boxes with correct documentation and apply address labels (Shipping)

Basic Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • The ability to:
    • Communicate effectively to managers and peers on a daily basis
    • Meet and exceed production goals
    • Correctly use RF devices (scanners) as needed; experience with scanners is a plus
    • Basic reading and mathematics ability
    • Maintain very high levels of accuracy in work assignments
    • Work cooperatively as a member of a team and participate in team meetings

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Inventory and warehouse management system experience

Total Rewards

  • Pay Range: 17.85 - 22.80
  • Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
