Distribution Center Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift

About the role

As a Distribution Center Warehouse Associate, you will be working at our brand new, state of the art facility in West Salem, WI, on our 2nd shift from 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm. This role supports the efficient and accurate flow of goods through our distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards.
• Aid with inventory control tasks including counting, restocking, and organizing products to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments, including unloading trucks, inspecting goods, and verifying order accuracy.
• Inspect products for damage and defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Operate various warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks in accordance with OSHA guidelines and First Supply safe operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other related documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily production goals and resolve any issues that arise.
• Keep the warehouse organized and hazard-free by emptying garbage, sweeping, or operating floor scrubbers as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with handheld RF units preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions.
• Ability to perform the physical essential requirements of the job.
• Ability to drive a forklift after training/certification.
