About the role
Supervises warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, stacking, picking, and palletizing finished products.
Responsibilities
- Determine daily work schedules for warehouse employees.
- Assess space requirements for storage and schedule delivery and distribution of products, parts, and accessories to meet customer requirements and ensure organized, clearly identified store material.
- Maintain equipment, including company vehicles, in compliance with city, state, and federal laws, and enforce safety rules and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and performance; provide counseling as needed.
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations managers, telephone sales, and other supervisors regarding shipments, cut-off times, and merchandise shortages.
- Maintain records and reports such as lost sales, error reports, and production reports.
- Recommend procedural changes to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of prior work experience in a warehouse-related field.
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution center, including material handling, inventory tracking, and providing work direction to teammates.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
- Bi-lingual skills preferred but not required.
