Responsibilities

  • Maintains and updates product and storage location data in the warehouse management system (WMS) and other enterprise systems.
  • Ensures the accuracy and consistency of data across all systems, performing regular checks and audits to identify discrepancies or errors.
  • Collaborates with IT and operations teams to ensure master data is flowing properly across various business systems, including WMS, ERP, and other relevant software tools.
  • Coordinates with the inbound and inventory control teams to manage and facilitate updates to product volumetrics, storage locations, and other relevant data as needed.
  • Observes and enforces existing data entry standards, ensuring that all data is entered correctly and consistently.
  • Documents and maintains training on operation and maintenance of Cubiscan machines.
  • Provides training and support to operations personnel and other departments on master data management practices, ensuring proper data handling across the organization.
  • Works with the operations manager to implement best practices for inventory management and process improvements related to the management of master data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, information systems, business administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in data management, inventory control, or master data within a distribution or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in data management software and systems (e.g., Stibo STEP, WMS, ERP systems).
  • Prior electrical distribution experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint), internet, email, and SAP software preferred.
  • Experience with data entry standards, quality control processes, and data governance.
